Mirroring Medusa is a live performance commissioned to take place within the Parthenogenesis art exhibition (Ramin Haerizadeh, Rokni Haerizadeh, Hesam Rahmanian, curated by Maya Allison) at the New York University Abu Dhabi Art Gallery. The original performance was part of Ramadaniyyat (NYUAD) in 2022. It was the first ever performance in the NYUAD Art Gallery.
The piece was choreographed and directed by Kiori Kawai. I composed and performed the music on bansuri flute and electronics.
